Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients:

1 stick of butter

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups mashed RIPE banana

2 cups flour

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup dar chocolate chips

OPTIONAL:

2/3 cupped walnuts

Method:

  • Spray with cooking spray and then flour a medium size loaf pan.  

  • Cream together the butter and sugar in mixer.

  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  • Mix in bananas. 

  • Gradually add in dry ingredients.

  • Add vanilla.

  • Add chocolate chips and sprinkle a few over mixture on pan with a few banana slices.

  • Pour mix into prepared loaf pan.

  • Bake at 350 oven for approximately one hour.

  • Toothpick should come out clean with just a few sticky crumbs when

inserted in middle of loaf.
